Spelling and Editing
Because information is often typed in directly, there is a high likelihood of typos and other accidental mistakes. Thus, although some errors will reflect carelessness or lack of skill, it seems best to give reviewers the benefit of the doubt and for an adult to do any necessary copy editing. Our general policy is to proofread reviews, which tend to be longer and more thoughtful, but not to edit comments and messages, which tend to be less formal and more conversational.
Please note that most modern browsers have spell checking ability. The newest versions of Firefox (2.0) and Safari have it built in. For Internet Explorer, versions 6 and 7 can each use ieSpell, a good third party program that installs with a simple download (available here ).
