  • Firewing by Kenneth Oppel (reviewed May 12, 2006)

5 I loved this book! it is a great book for fantasy/adventure lovers and also for bat lovers! it is about a young bat named Griffin who gets sucked down into a fissure and right into the land of the dead where the evil bat god CAMA ZOTZ reigns. Meanwhile his father, Shade, desperately tries to retrieve his son from the underworld. Griffin, accompanied by Luna a bat who he accidentally killed (you'll get more about that in the story) is searching for something too, the tree, which is the only way out to the upper world, and also for the dead bats the way to paradise. But what they don't know is a hidden enemy from long ago is lurking down in the underworld, an enemy that Shade had never hoped to see again. And let's just say that Shade is not the only one looking for Griffin.

  • Silverwing by Kenneth Oppel (reviewed May 4, 2006)

5 This book should be rated 6! I loved this story! It is about a curious young bat who is trying to discover the secret of the metal bands and also his lost father. But one day while traveling to Hibernaculum in winter, Shade (the curious young bat) gets blown off course during a winter blizzard. Join Shade and his friends as they encounter owls, pigeons, and treacherous cannibal bats. This is a great book full of adventure perfect for a fantasy adventure lover.

  • Harry Potter - Series by J. K. Rowling (reviewed Mar 9, 2006)

5 These books are great! It is about a boy named Harry Potter who lived with his cruel aunt and uncle and also an annoying, fat, and bullying cousin named DUDLEY (dan, dan, dan, dan)! One normal day Harry figures out he is a WIZARD! After that Harry goes to a wizard school called Hogwarts. In Hogwarts Harry has exciting adventures and meets great friends.

  • Perloo the Bold by Avi (reviewed Feb 13, 2006)

5 Perloo the bold is A-W-E-S-O-M-E. It is about a lazy montmer (rabbit-like creature with BIG feet, so big you can even go skiing on them!) named Perloo. One night while doing his usual reading Lucabara comes. Who's Lucabara, you ask? Lucabara is my favorite character because she is so adventurous and athletic. She is also Granter Jolaine's First Assistant. Who's Granter Jolaine? So many questions! Granter Jolaine is the leader of the montmers. READ THE BOOK! Follow Perloo as he goes on a crazy adventure full of war, betrayal, and yep, BOLDNESS. This is a great book for fantasy lovers like me. Now go and read the book!

  • Inkheart by Cornelia Caroline Funke (reviewed Feb 5, 2006)

5 I loved this book! It's about fairies, evil people, and of course a daring little (actually she's older than me but...) girl named Meggie who, hmmm how to describe it, hey! i'm supposed to be thinking this! uhh whose father has the ability to read things out of books. But there is a trick to it. Every time he reads something out of a book something in the real world (dan, dan, dan) disappears! A cruel evil person (Capricorn) wants to use his powers for bad reasons. I'm not telling you! Follow Meggie as she unravels the truth about her own past and saves the world in the process.

  • Dragon Rider by Cornelia Caroline Funke (reviewed Jan 19, 2006)

5 This book is awesome!!! It's about a daring kid named Ben who meets a dragon named Firedrake and a brownie named Sorrel. Together they go on an adventure to the Rim Of Heaven (dandadadan) uhhh o.k. to find a new place for the other dragons to live because the Valley Of The Dragons is in danger of total destruction by...US!!! Yes you got it. We are going to threaten the lives of the last living dragons on earth!!! hehe uhhhh I wasn't laughing uhhh hahahaha cough. Okay, maybe I was, but you're not going to know why until you read it.
