  • The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud (reviewed Mar 7, 2007)

5 Bartimaeus is the funniest djinni in all the Other Place. The shape-shifting djinn is summoned by Nathaniel, a pretty amateur magician, and hates it. The worst part for Nathaniel is that Bartimaeus knows his birth name. Will he and Nathaniel get along together or will they get into a fiery feud? Find out in the book.

  • Flyte (Septimus Heap; Book 2) by Angie Sage (reviewed Jan 11, 2007)

5 Flyte is the sequel to Magyk and IT IS AWESOME!! A year after becoming Marcia's apprentice, Septimus Heap is on a one day vacation and Jenna is in trouble. Simon Heap has kiddnapped her! Septimus needs to find and help her before it's too late. Read the book to find out what happens!

  • Magyk by Angie Sage (reviewed Jan 11, 2007)

5 The first of the Septimus Heap series is an fabulous book. Septimus is claimed dead just after being born as Silas Heap comes across a baby in the snow. What happens to the baby and Septimus? READ THE BOK TO FIND OUT!

  • Dr. Ernest Drake's Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons by Dugald Steer (reviewed Dec 19, 2006)

5 Dragonology is a "know it all" book about different species of dragons and their properties. It also has some samples of dragon membrane on almost every page. It is also strange how it seems quite real. If you really really like dragons, then this is definitely the book for you.

  • The Akhenaten Adventure (Children of the Lamp Book 1) by Philip Kerr (reviewed Dec 5, 2006)

5 The first book of the Children of the Lamp is an awesome fantasy book. John and Philippa find out that they are actually twin djinn of the Marid tribe. They decide to go visit their uncle Nimrod in England instead of what their mom planned: going to a "summer camp." So they end up not being able to use their djinn powers. I really think you should read it.

  • Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz (reviewed Dec 5, 2006)

5 The last book in the Alex Rider series is AWESOME!!!
Alex lives from the sniper shot and, unfortunately, gets tied up with Force Three (an "eco-terrorist" group) and a boy and his multi billionaire father who is building an outer space hotel. If he is bad, Alex has to be the one to investigate it. Read this book. PERIOD.

  • Skeleton Key by Anthony Horowitz (reviewed Oct 19, 2006)

5 Skeleton Key, the third book of the Alex Rider series, is really really good. Period. Inside it has a lot of action and surprises.

  • Eldest by Christopher Paolini (reviewed Oct 19, 2006)

5 An amazing book!! As the sequel to Eragon, things only get better. If you are looking for a great book, go for Eldest. So far I haven't read a better book.
